Freepoint adds ex-Noble Group power trader

Freepoint adds ex-Noble Group power trader

Freepoint Commodities has hired Grant Gulyassy, a former v.p. of Northeast term power trading at Noble Group in Stamford, Conn.
Gulyassy joined Freepoint yesterday.
Prior to moving to Noble in 2013, Gulyassy was a power trader at Shell Energy North America in Houston, where he focused on the New York, New England and Ontario markets.
Separately, Freepoint recently hired pair of light distillates crude oil traders in Houston from Gulfstream Trading, Ltd.
The new hires, Harris Masterson and Mike Smith, will focus on trading naptha and liquid petroleum gas (LPG), as first reported by SparkSpread on Nov. 10.
