Contracts Administrator

Role Summary:
Draft contracts to assist team with Physical Coal and Oil trades with different modes of transportation.
Work with Contracts Team to ensure Freepoint’s internal contract documents are accurate, up-to-date and well maintained.
Identify and track new and revised transactions in energy risk management system (ERMS)
Work with traders, analysts, legal, credit, treasury, and operations teams, as necessary, to confirm transaction terms and identify any special provisions to be included in contracts, as reflected in ERMS, as appropriate.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between deal tickets, broker confirms and counterparty contracts
Review General Terms and Conditions, along with specific transaction terms in contracts received from Counterparties.
Identify risks and promptly escalate any issues to the appropriate department for further discussion and resolution to ensure best possible advantage/position for Freepoint
Communicate with counterparties. 
Other tasks as may be required – for example – testing  new enhancements and/or new projects.

Accounting Analyst

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our fast-paced commodities business. In this role, you will be responsible for using technology solutions, Metaviewer, Great Plains, and proprietary systems to complete tasks. The position demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical abilities, and an aptitude for reviewing invoices in multiple currencies. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates with an interest in Accounting. Additionally, the role offers collaboration with our global financial reporting group, Treasury teams, and employees across the business.


Duties:
Process global operating expense invoices, in multiple currencies using automated payable solution and ensure invoices are properly approved and paid in a timely fashion
Assign appropriate ledger coding by using our company's chart of accounts, effectively allocating costs to specific cost centers, projects, and legal entities. Distinguish between costs to be capitalized and expenses.
Manage payment processing, including the printing of checks, generating ACH batches, and initiating wire payments in both USD and foreign currencies
Collaborate with the global onboarding team to ensure proper vendor onboarding and accurate maintenance of vendor information.
Maintain vendor payment instructions and adhere to company callback policy regarding change in payment instructions
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies and respond to all vendor inquiries
Responsively handle inquiries from both employees and vendors
Proactively identify potential areas for process improvement
Provide support for other projects as required


Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Proficient technology skills, including MS Word and Excel, and an ability to learn new platforms well
Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective organizational abilities
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities
Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment

Executive Assistant & Communications Administrator

Executive Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to key Front Office and Senior Executives – includes complex travel arrangements (international & domestic), expense report submissions, and meeting coordination. 
Assist Executives with basic office needs – FedEx, calendar management, coordinating transportation & travel for Freepoint guests.
Company sponsored event planning & execution – including Holiday Party, Summer Party, and charitable events.
Work closely with promotional companies to create and develop marketing materials.
Manage ordering, distribution, and inventory of promotional items.
Assist the Office Manager on various ad-hoc office projects such as bank events & off-site meetings, team building programs, etc.
Provide C-Suite Administrative back-up for two Executive Assistants as needed: 
Daily phone coverage, special project work, calendar management, meeting coordination, etc. 


Project Management & Communications
Intranet Management: Create, organize, and implement content updates.
Assist in maintaining and updating the corporate websites (Freepoint Commodities and Freepoint Eco-Systems). Including working with the creative agency, PR Firm, and various department heads on content.
Assist Management with internal & external communications as needed.


Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent Communications skills – written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-starter who can work independently and pro-actively.
Microsoft Office Suite required.
Copywriting, editing and proofreading experience preferred.
Concur & PowerPoint experience preferred.
An inherent joy and satisfaction in providing superior support.
